Importing a bike??

I've been offered a used bike at good price from
Holland - he would pay shipping charges.
So, apart from the very obvious pitfalls (ie buying anything without seeing it, etc...)what are the implications of doing this - re-registering etc anyone got any experience of this?

Why don't you go over and see it, then you can ride it home
