C63 Alloys

Most of the C63's I see on the road seem to be running 19" Alloys, but I have heard of owners claiming their Alloys cracked after a couple of years due to bad potholes etc.

Seems quite rare to see any C63's running 18" Alloys. Is there a compromise in ride quality on 19" rims?

Lastly, seems to be a lot of places selling cheap AMG 19" Replica Alloys, are these worth the small outlay?

I run the option 18". Mainly because the ride was much better than the super firm C55 i used to have.

I'd be surprised if they crack as they are so heavy. I thought they would be lighter being AMG wheels but were not when I had them off my car.

I wouldn't touch replica alloys as in my experience they are inferior quality to OEM. If you want additional alloys choose a recognised brand.

19"s are fine and actually not that firm. No more firm than my M5 was when set to suspension mode 3.
