Mini keeps conking out

Has anyone had the problem that when changing gear the car just conks out. Really dangerous

I havent heard of any common issues with the 2007 Cooper which would cause this. Plenty of issues reported with the S.

Any other symptoms? Is you Stop-Start functioning correctly? What happens if you switch off stop-start?

Does it happen when cold, hot, start of journey?
