Can you sell me an engine?
Discussion
I am now looking for a replacement engine for my Fiat Punto. Since I will now not be designing a chassis I hope to put a Ferrari engine in it. Which one is best?
I am looking at the book about Ferrari and it tells me there are 2 tyoe of Ferrari engine. One with 8 piston and the other with 12. If I cannot put all 12 piston in the engine bay can I take some out? Will I have to saw off part of the engine?

I have a couple of V12`s out in the garage let me know what you need , they are just cluttering up the place , oh and i have a Lambo V12 as well if thats any use to you , tell you what take the lot and lets say ,,, what £500- and you pick up
Yes, please let me know you address and I will collect. Will it fit in the punto, if not could you send it too me via royal mail?
I would love to see a photo of the engine since I would not want to buy something which would be expensive to repair.
Hey, chassis,
I suppose marki is fooling you!
V12s never fit into Puntos
You could have one of my 2¼ Landrover 4pots; they're easy to maintain and bring about 300kgs more weight to your front axle (wasn't the Punto mid engined? )
Landrover-engines have a good reputation for being strong and powerful!
We should discuss the price, because there will be more people interested and willing to pay a fortune!

Now I feel very confused. OK so you think my car may already have a Ferrari engine in it? I do not think so since I have much trouble trying to go up hills.
So would it be better for me to put a small 8 piston engine in? Will this make a car go to 200 miles per hour when i go on the track? I have seen the cars with wings on the back. If I put these on would this help me go faster?

Hi Chassis,
Welcome back. You can check to see if your engine has been converted already (the Ferrari swap is popular for Puntos). Open the bonnet and check the cam cover on top of the engine. If the screw on cap says '710' on it then yours is a Ferarri engine already.
As to the problem with uphill performance, my friend had this same issue - it was due to the level checker on the directional input device - easily fixed.
Cheers,
JSG.
I have been outside and the only cover I can see it a metal thing with water in it. It's says to remove it slowly. Does this help?
There is also a plastic bottle with blue liquid in it. Should there be oil in this? There is no cap with 710 on it. Is this number the power of the engine?

The metal thing is the tank; and if there's no 710 printed on the other cap, it should be the latest 2-stroke Ferrari water engine!
Rare conversion, indeed!
