Well the second outrigger is now welded in place, just a paint and clean up to do smile I decided to strip the back end of the car while the body is up, fuel tank out, tank cradle out, suspension off, diff mounts off, diff on blocks. I`m going to clean, examine and paint all of the structure. Also the diff was changed a couple of years ago so I`ll put new oil in and grease the u/j`s and prop joints, if I`ve missed anything, feel free to add to the list of jobs to do thumbup

How are the trailing arms ? I was convinced mine were solid unroll I peeled a tiny bit of flaking waxoyle off to reveal wafer thin rusty tin, I also cleaned up and painted my fuel tank and had to replace a few fuel lines. My front room looks like a scrapyard

redcard

Stop that! stop that negative talk right now!
I'm sure if mine look nice and solid and clean and shiny and painted, then they are the same on the top.
I'm not listening, I can't hear you, blah, blah, blah

So close to finishing now, tank and cradle all cleaned painted and dinitrol applied. The fuel tank is in a fantastic condition, very surprised by that, tank securing straps to clean up, clean and paint the structure around the diff and then slowly lower the body. I`m itching to turn the ignition on and thumb the start button, god I miss the rumble and growl of my S. First run out, gonna cruise till the tyres drop off hehe oh and most importantly I`ve now got a permanent job bounce so no more contracting for me.
