The first production car, one of a tiny handful of RHD cars (and a bit of a wreck), was up for sale recently.

There was a UK-registered one featured in one of the monthly classic car magazines a few years back. The owner had cancer and was using the restoration as as a target to achieve and keep himself busy. As far as I can remember he did indeed complete the job to an exceptional standard but sadly passed away about the time that the story was published in the magazine. 
Coventry Transport Museum have one on long term loan, if you are ever that way.
I think Italias look incredible. I have a number of the period press photographs/details that relate to the first car that still exists, and was offered for sale (it requires a full restoration) recently.
Despite such low numbers made they do come available on the market quite frequently. I do not know how many of the 329 made still exist, of which most are LHD.

If you're really keen – and have a significant amount of spare wedge – you could get these guys to build you a new one. I've only seen pics but the look rather cool,what sort of price does a good one go for?

Nipped over to Coventry yestrday afternoon for a gander at the Italia (amongst others!) - a gorgeous car in the flesh. I love the slim window pillars... very elegant, it's definitley 'on the list' ;-)I think Italias look incredible.
