Is the A5 Autobahn near Baden Baden dericstricted?

Last drove it in 2011 and it was still derestricted. You will need to get your timing right though as there is usually a lot of traffic on the road.

there have been roadworks to add a lane south of BB for the past year or so.
last time I was there (back in march) works were still unfinished

Bugger me- does that mean 110km/h until BB?

Basically between Offenburg to BB is more 80 or 90 km/h, sorry.

i drove it last month and it was slow, roadworks for miles and the lanes are pretty narrow while that is going on. what way are you heading into Germany, i went via Lux and onto the A1, that was awesome. i'll post a vid soon......
