Oh dear;

Managing directors Christopher Gloning and Christian Gumpold had the original idea which was, to transform the well known and tested shape of current submarine designs into a private yacht.
Transform the tested shape of pressure vessels into something resembling swiss cheese, and having about as much structural rigidity. If it goes much beyond periscope depth I'd be surprised. Submarines are dangerous even when operated by navies on a cost(more or less)-no-object basis; this kind of thing is a disaster waiting to happen.

Most private yachts are a disaster waiting to happen. Especially the small ones.

[quote="The Company"]The company says it's very likely to travel amongst school of whales heading into the deep while having a cup of tea and a good chat in the main saloon

An when the school goes into a vertical dive?

Having worked on Superyachts, the concept strikes me as pure fantasy...

Spent some time around "A" and I cannot imagine trying to make that thing sink and float again...

I remember seeing the first rough sketches for A while working for a mate/mentor of the owner. We laughed. Yet she was built. A million miles from this (successful) PR-generating exercise by a design studio - only intended to be picked by bored journos.
