Anyone else popping along?

I'll be there in the Chimaera now that the S is gone :-(

Normally lots of nice cars to admire and a fabulous breakfast too

Sorry Jules, I'll be camping it up at Newark.
But I'll be thinking of you tucking into that sumptuous gourmet breakfast whilst I am trying to cook a rook on my rudimentary flaming device.
Better than McD's though.
Have a great time. thumbup

Hi Jules I hope to be there with my son, but I am part way through respray so depends if I can time a gap between coats, and put doorhandles and mirrors lights etc back on.
Ideally dry weather too would be good.

Last I heard from Nick ( Bountyhunter ) he was hoping to get along in what ever wheeled vehicle he can use.

I shall be going plus the good lady, as it is her turn to drive. I think Stew Mc may be coming too.
Cheers Al

Looks like I'll be turning up with son, and his father in law to be. I'll bring the S and son will bring his 330i coupe.

Al - you may remember Matthew from his work experience time.

Yes Tony I do remember him, but he would have been about 13, I guess. I seem to remember telling him, after thrashing round the test track, "Whatever you do don't tell your Mom". I think he went home and promptly told her shoutabout all the antics. Hopefully see you all Sunday.

Whats with the sunshine ???
Sorry I missed you guys, got carried away fixing a boot hinge, ( one well rusted bolt siezed into the lock nut through the boot bracket into the rear wing, excellent design flaw )and fitted gas struts, didn't get the rear end sprayed or the handles mirrors and lights back on. But much closer to getting her looking more like I want. Got some time sorted for this week to get on with it.
Hopefully next month all will be finished.!

It was a lovely day for a roof-down drive.

Our Tamora is hiding behind that E-type in your photo.

I really should come over and say hello. We brought the baby with us today and by the time breakfast was done and we had a walk up the hill it was time to head back.

He enjoyed the drive and showed that through sleeping both ways. Note S-series in the background as my wife takes him home.

.

A few more pics from the day are here and here.
