Tubi Fitted Today

Well finally picked up the car tonight and drove the 90 miles home from London through the rush hour traffic. Not the best place to test the new exhaust, but i managed to get a few blasts up the full rev range and the sound is fantastic. At low revs the bass tone fills the cockpit with sound that would make a conversation tough going, as you pull away and the revs climb you get a howl thats the nearest thing to an F1 car Ive heard on the road. People three or four cars up the road turn round to see whats coming and the traffic directly ahead moves over to get a better look.
As i said not really a great test due to traffic conditions, but hopefully over the weekend i should be able to shoot some video and decent audio for those that are interested.
Also have to say thanks to Manu (www.scuderiasystems.com) and Carl (www.verdiferrari.biz) for all the work they did on the car. Great job guys.

Not sure but the car in the video doesnt sound like its running the loud option to me. There is a regular/loud and test pipe option.
The cats on the Lambo's Rick, are built into the Manifolds and almost impossible to remove. Had to leave the cats on the Murci too.
Been out in mine all day again today. Passed 15 cars in a row on a well known long straight deristricted road, looked at the speedo when shooting past the last one - 130. The accelaration is still mind blowing, its relentless in every gear and just does'nt even slow, the brakes though are'nt brilliant. The Gallardo has 19" rims whereas the Murci 18" and the Gallardo's discs are also bigger interestingly. I'll bet the stopping power of James is far better than mine. Mine rumble and fade after a bit.Lambo are obviously aware of this since the Murci 05 model gets the new Roadsters 19" rims and discs to match..

You've still left the cats on ??? WHY
It can cause problems with the ECU, and almost certainly invalidates your warranty to remove them. I'd only remove them for a short period, but to be really honest the car is running so loud now i dont think theres going to be any need.

Not driven the Merci, but the I took the Gallardo on the track for the second time earlier this week, and did around 35 laps of Mallory Park. Still no brake fade. The cars done 3k miles and one session of Brandshatch GP as well, so I'm really surprised so far. The 360 I had wouldn't have made it this far.
Still think the Merci has the looks and edge on sound though. Just too big for what i wanted.

Tony,
Shot some quick video today but the quality isnt great and we got moved on by some guy who theatened to call the police! Apprently we were driving dangerously. Which involved driving up a relatively deserted road in Dorset reving an engine. (I of course chased him off up the road and ran him into a ditch (joke))
Anyway long story short yes there is some very brief video but ive been having problems posting it on most forums as the format is in .WMV, zipping the file seems to be the work around, but i dont know if posting files onto here is possible?

James, by all means email me the vid and I'll post it up on pistonheads.TV
Was weary of eMailing it, simply as it might end up killing his email account if its too big (dunno what Size limits you have specified on your MX server Ted) and ended up bouncing back.
Either way
