Cotton Green air filter

Hi,

I have just put a cotton green air filter on my 3.2 Carrera in place of the standard airbox. As usual there is a piece left over...In this case I cannot see where to place the bracket. Has anyone installed this air filter or one similar (cone type)? It does say that shaping of the bracket may be required, but I could shape it to fit most places in the engine bay, not just the correct one...

Any ideas?
