Guys,

I am going to change my airbag in the steering wheel on my 997.2 due to a scratch in the leather. I presume coding would be required, incidentally it is a second hand unit I am replacing it with.

If its a straight like for like swap you should be ok.

If you can give some more details I can check more thoroughly.

It is a 997.2 GT3 and the part number is 997.803.089.12.A34. So it is just a straight swap, no coding required at all? I just need to disconnect the battery to swap it over?
