Nope, but do remember seeing one for sale not that long ago. The advert stated in no uncertain term that unless you were comfortable writing seven-figure cheques, then it probably wasn't the aircraft for you.

As a side note, for the price of some of these 'experiences', one could train as a PPL, build a few hours and join a jet warbird group and actually solo something interesting (granted, not a MiG 29), rather than quick pax ride and a souvenir DVD.

Not far off. Cheap PPL stateside, around £6k (or £8k in the UK). Buy a share in something cheap to hour build (£3k for Spamcan). Then a couple of grand spare for...

Granted, none are 4th generation air superiority fighters, and a Mk3 JP isn't going to set your hair on fire, but given the choice between an overblown pax ride, and lining up solo to takeoff in a 1960's jet fighter/trainer, I know which route I would go (and indeed, am in the process of doing). Especially as these aircraft aren't going to be around forever.

I would imagine that many of the people who go and fly the Migs are pilots already. If you can afford to drop a few grand on flying a Mig then you're probably not counting the pennies.

Possibly, but then again, many are people who are just blowing their xmas bonus because they thought Topgun was cool and would never think of actually doing it themselves. I know a few ex-Thunder City punters who fall into that category.

Only 100 SEP hours total required to join?! Thought it would be much more than that... so I could do this then?!
