Now i normally eat, sleep and sh1t cars and all things cary. Have to admit however, that lately, I've really lost interest. stopped going to the garage for a peek before bedtime... stopped those late night razzes (in the car that is)... even stopped my 30-a-day pistonheads habit. Anyone else ever lose the bug? Is it terminal? Is there a cure? I've even started to fancy myself in a VW Passat estate (and I'm not joking).

Only time I lost interest is when I have been really into a bird and nothing else mattered, but like women you always end up back with fast cars eventually.....

You could do what half the people on here do; change your car every six months as you loose interest.

I know what you mean, and I do get bored too easily. Changing cars a lot helps though and generally stops you losing any money too...

hmmm... I have actually just got a new bird. that combined with a broken chimaera could be the root! I think i can feel a slight recovery tho, as I am starting to check the classifieds for a Porker 993!

I don't get sick of cars, just paying out for them. Bloody insurance, petrol, tax, service, repairs, depreciation. If you added up the lot you'd die.

It must be owning an Audi that does it ... I certainly
got bored with Audi's at Le Mans...

Know what you mean. What with recent events (see 'Chimaera/Graunching sound' thread), I'm wondering what else I could buy for £20k. Whatever it was, it wouldn't cost me what the current baby does and is likely to be a damn sight more reliable.

More importantly, it wouldn't be saying 'buy me more toys' each time I drive it!
