Dead at 85.

As a teenager, I enjoyed his novels immensely. As an adult, they seemed a touch juvenile but there will always be a warm welcome on my bookshelf for The Throwback.

Sad to hear this, always loved Tom Sharpe and still have most of his novels on my shelf.
The Wilt books and Vintage Stuff being my favourites.
