Hi guys

I'm really looking for help at a tricky time - yes, the time has come for me to sell my trusty 944T for a 'family car' (OMG!).

The thing is, the car is great but not perfect and I just don't have the time to go through the whole sales process.

The MOT is coming up and I don't have the budget for last year's advisories (3 tyres + oil leak) plus anything new.

Can any of you well-informed folks advise me on what to do?

I'm not looking for silly money at all - far from it - speed is arguably more important!

Please help!

Many thanks
Tony.

Hi Tony, I would put a post on PCGB forum (you don't need to be a member) I mentioned last year that I was thinking of changing my 944T to a 968 and immediately had 2 PMs offering to buy the 944 and 1 offering me a magnificient 968S locally at a reasonable price, a very easy change!

Im curious as to who else wanted to buy it? Im also curious as to how you fit a mountain bike in the boot - did you ever take a picture?

I always thought a slipper should have been the first tick on the options list wink.

A well-known spares dealer wanted it, but I didn't want her broken

I would just take off the front wheel to put the bike in, could fit my daughter's hockey goalie kit in as well, so i could drop her at school for team practice and then ride around Grafham Water whilst I waited:

Went in the 968 no probs too:

Thanks for the reminder Blade, not sure on the Slipper remark however?

You should buy another smile. Re the slipper I put one in my old 2.8 turbo a long time ago and it transformed it from a liability in the wet into a car that would hold amazing slides biggrin.

It had the LSD option, but as I didn't have the power on at the time it wasn't really doing much....

I will have more pork at some point, it is just a question of which end the engine is and how many cylinders...

I foresee you struggling to get that past the board! hehe

Approval for a 964 might be more easily obtained though.
