whats peoples views on this car? to me it seems pointless.yes very pretty(even though i dont do drop tops) but why bring that out when the boxster has always been the drop top? the 2 cars are far too similar in looks to warrant both imo.

you're too late for an April fool matey! what the hell are you on about?! The Boxster is "the drop top Cayman" - if you want to call it that. It'd be more accurate to call the Cayman the "hard top Boxster" though as the Boxster came first....

It goes to show how good a job Porsche have done marketing the Cayman as a separate product line to the Boxster.

The Cayman Roadster is OK, but personally, I prefer the Boxster Coupe.

now,im not an expert on all things porsche but know a bit about 911's but very little on boxster's and cayman's .

for you people in the know then.is this the new boxster then?and the people on 911uk.com got it wrong?
