After many hours making her shine, I thought I'd share some photos of my track toy / pride and joy.

The car is a genuine Club Sport and the first one made (of 179 UK cars in total). It was originally the Porsche press car.

Apologies for the quality of shots (iPhone camera) and the failing light:

Yes - it's a very nice engine. Not super powerful by modern standards (standard 240bhp, you can tweak them with a chip, exhaust & airbox to about 255bhp) - but lots of low down torque and it has a lot of character.

I saw one of these in a petrol station in Aviemore on the 25th of May when we were returning from holiday. The thing looked beautiful and was one of those cars that you strain your neck to look at.

Your one looks beautiful and looks really clean. Bet it is nice to drive.

Yes it has the following mods:

- KW variant 3 suspension
- Big red (993TT) brake upgrades
- MO30 bars
- Janspeed stainless exhaust
- Airbox mod
- Promax chip

It's with a specialist now having a Kaaz LSD fitted.

In my time it's also had a full respray and an interior re-trim.

And yes, it's kept safely under lock and key !!

I have a yearning for pork in my life, looked at these 7 years ago when you could get a good one for £15k.

Car No1 must carry a healty premium, is there an interesting story behind buying it?

No interesting story really !

Bought a couple of years ago off of a fellow enthusiast who had started some of the track conversions. Despite being my track toy it has been a labour of love ever since. At this point it's really too good to hammer around the track. On the other hand, I figure it was built for it, and the reason I bought it in the first place - so a crime not to.

I'm not really sure whether car No 1 carries a premium or not. It's nice to have the provenance but probably hard to ask for more for it. Anyway, it's definitely not for sale !

PS: I reckon £15k would still get you a GREAT car.

Nice car OP.

Mine (which lives <2 miles away from yours) has been in the classifieds for a few weeks, but it's probably worth more to me than what someone will pay for it so I might just keep it. I wish I had more time to do track days!

Orange wheels? If that's your car you should definitely keep it. The plate alone is valuable and as you know, it's an awful lot of car for the money, and one you'll miss.
