Pininfarina Tribute Gathering

Hmm? Maybe not...
I went on Saturday, world record?? There were far more pininfarina cars at autoitalia brooklands, not to mention the ferrari attempt last year at Silverstone.
The event was held around the polo field, the cars one side and the club house the other. Apart from Paulo pininfarina none of the other celebs were there, it was a quick park up, watch some polo, which was....yeah really good, go to the one stall selling "premium goods" have a coffee and that's about it, pretty boring really, sorry you apart from the unveiling of the Sergio and Eric clap tons car, bit of a let down.

Hugely disappointing day out. I felt sorry for Mr. Pinninfarina who came all this way and was handed a microphone that didn't work, so we missed the first 5 minutes of what he bravely carried on saying. You'd think someone would have have bothered to check the radio mic reached the receiver? Other than that there were a few gorgeous cars which took about 15 minutes to appreciate and then . . . um, well . . . a whole lot of nothing actually. Supercar Sunday at Goodwood the next day surely had more Pinninfarina cars. World Records take a lot more organising than was evident at Hurtwood, sorry to say.
