looking for source of parts for 968
Discussion
Hi all, maybe a long shot but worth a try
im in the process of making a 968 turbo, ive got a complete 944 turbo, and 968 shell but am missing some key pieces, does anyone have any suggestions where I can start looking for parts
parts needed include
front and rear bumper brackets (alloy part and the steel mounts that hold the alloy to the car)
pair of rear lights
front indicators
clips to hold the sill trims to the car
968 badge
scuttle panel cover
front fog lights or brake ducts
there are other parts but these are the main things that spring to mind...

Why not call Porsche? Many parts are still cheapest there, and you're buying a new part, not one that's worn out. Then the usual specialists, check out all of them as prices vary. If all else fails, buy used. If even this fails, your options are to give up or use DVB; at this point I'd give up rather than do that.
There is also Jasmine Porshcalink UK

There's been a couple of attempts at this before... Check the 968 uk site for help guidance and more moral support than you're going to get from the 911 lovers on here..
"attempts" at this, that doesnt sound very possitive....apart from sourcing the parts it all looks pretty straight forward to me
You didnt used to be able to give away rear lamps and PUs...
If by scuttle panel you mean the heater cover then youre best buying new. Better and cheaper than the 944 part and a relative bargain at about £60. As its made out of the same material as a cheap seed growing tray, they dont last so a used one isnt a good prospect.
Id try Buttercup (Porschapart) for the parts that you cant stumble across elsewhere. Not cheap but reliable and he knows what he is doing, so the parts will be good.

heres what im starting with..

complete colour change, inside and out, and aiming for about 400-450bhp (currently running 320)
At least you're under cover with plenty of space, and if you've reshelled a car before you'll know how much work is involved. A real 450 bhp wont be cheap though.
