Pearson backwards cycle gear.... Why?

I drove past a young lady yesterday cycling in a pair of Pearson shorts. I know they were Pearson shorts, because they had a Pearson logo across her arse, but it (the logo, not her arse) was backwards.

Why do they do this? I could understand having a backwards logo on the front of a shirt that might be seen in a rear view mirror or something, but why on the back????

Perhaps she was transparent.

It's to protect cyclist as car drivers get closer to them to try and read what it says......oh wait!
