Just realised its now registration only and I missed the deadline, so won't be along in the 996.
We're looking at moving to a 996T (or maybe an early 997T), any owners likely to be there that could spend 10mins sharing ownership experience?

On the Goodwood site the closing date for registration has been moved to today or tomorrow. Can't quite remember as their site is playing up.We're looking at moving to a 996T (or maybe an early 997T), any owners likely to be there that could spend 10mins sharing ownership experience?

Attended today and arrived at 07.20. This was much too late as we were first directed down the track to the end of the pit lane and then directed to turn right down the rear of the paddock. After a pause at the entrance to the paddock while the marshal spoke on his radio, we were then directed down the tunnel and then to the tarmac car park on the right as you come through the main entrance (on the left as we were going), which we had passed on our way in. The paddock was apparently full. There were some very interesting cars in the car park we were directed to, including numerous Porsches and Ferraris, etc. Cars parked on the track stretched the definition of "Supercar" somewhat as we saw a Fiat 500, albeit Abarth, Smart Car and a Mazda MX3 plus other cars that in no way would fit the definition of Supercar. This is apparently at the whim of the men in yellow jackets!J
I will try get there earlier next year!
Got there about 8.10 and was directed through the other entrance and parked along the track (opposite that white countach kit car thing).
Felt somewhat underdressed in a 996 C2 and twice heard 'that's only a carerra'. Many great cars, didn't think Mclaren had made that many MP4s. The two Veyrons looked good, loved the livery on the blue/white one, 458s were getting a bit boring in the end ...
Fav car - the two speed yellow 996Ts looked the business as did the many GT3s. But I'd take home the rivera blue coloured 997 GT3 (GT03 BRO was reg).If you are here, top car!
Managed to speakto a couple of turbo owners (thanks again if you're on here).
