Was setting up the office yesterday (torture!) when I came to realise quite graphically the joys of being in Egham....
Two fellas pulled into the Shell station opposite driving a Ferrari F50.

For a start it was RIGHT HAND DRIVE so must have been specially converted. Also no way was it standard - I've heard a 'normal' F50 but THIS..... Bloody Hell - It was earth shattering - quite simply stupendous - the loudest, best sounding car I have ever, ever had the joy of hearing - when they creamed it down the bypass I was almost in tears.....Pure Formula One - sounded suspiciously like straight pipes to me....so the young owner (saw him) is evidently a COMPLETE NUTTER.
Had a jazzy number plate too..... Anyone know anything else or seen this this right hand drive 'SUPER' F50.....

Manu.

P.S. Talking of SUPER supercars - Saw a RIGHT HAND DRIVE GREY Ferrari F40 in Talacrest with elec windows and a bloody CD player..... ridiculous!

Although not really a Ferrari man, I have to say the Ferrari I saw being driven in East London last week was superb.
A black 360 Spyder(with the roof down), piloted by two girls in sunglasses.
Lets just say they were turning a head or two!

Thanks for the information Manu. That was my nephew taking the car to Maranello's to have a CD player fitted

According to this site www.qv500.com/auction_article.cfm?sp=1023 that grey F40 was built by Pinninfarina for the sultan of Brunei. Well he already had another six in red...

I have no idea why the Sultan of Brunei wants so many cars, there are only 200 miles of roads in Brunei! Also the most sensible car is a 4x4 with A/C cause when it rains it really rains, I saw roads 10" underwater after 3 hours of rain!

I am pretty sure I saw a 456 estate about a month ago in the west end of london. Apparently another one of the good Sultan's ideas.

What do you call an arab with ham on his head?

Hamed.

What about one with two slices of ham on his head?

Mo Hamed

As above with a milkshake in his hand?

Sheikh Mohamed.

As above holding a lamb in his arms?

Sheikh Mohamed al Lamb.

Sorry, just having a very boring day. Accounts, yuk.

Hey Manu, how's the office going? I think I told you about Sugareef last time didnt I? There's a night there again tomorrow but I can't make it so we'll have to do it another time. Damn, the women that were there last time. You should have seen them. Much better than the ones we saw at Planet Hollywood.

One of the beautiful ladies is leaving the UK for good so thats a shame (don't worry its not Sarah! Did I tell you she was a lifeguard?). What a fantastic body, better not let my imagination run wild...I am still at work. Ooops, I hope Nat doesn't read this...mind you she can't blame as there are soooo many gorgeous woman out there...Only joking Nat, you are the best looking one I've seen ever(???except for that bird wearing that "belt" trying to pretend it was a dress he he he No harm in looking...).

BTW, Kevin I seriously don't know whether you are being serious or joking? For all me and Manu know and hope we should be seeing YOUR F50 anytime soon. Maybe a super F50?

hehe one day it WILL be mine. And I won't even need to fit a sports exhaust either. How jammy is that? Whoever owns that car is a person after my own heart- it may be a woman you know "For Sale F50, one lady owner but you'll need to speak up a bit dear..."

that 456 estate was for sale, think it was around £325,000. That was one made for Sultan of Brunei too.

Ah I love Egham.....
I've seen a 456GT SALOON(!) at Maranello Sales before with the plate 1 XX.... the Sultan again?

Kevin it cracks me up to think that I was talking to you from INSIDE our office and you could actually HEAR 360 Modenas being driven past..
ANY Pistonheads out there..... call my mobile (email me and I'll give it to you) and if you talk to me for long enough you'll get live demonstrations of the sounds of stock Ferraris.....

And seeing as we're discussing things I love - If attractive women (or attractive cars) are involved then I want to know Ninja! (Read your Ham Head jokes...God mate you must be REALLY bored ). But I will say that Sarah IS a little sexy..... You should get Nat on this board too.

We could do with a few female pistonheads.... (saw a very attractive young lady driving a grey 550 today while I was trying to control our exploding radiator - convinced she's part of the Maranello Sales set up but then you never know.)

Nat already knows about my dirty little habit (pistonheads.com) and I think she might occasionally check here from time to time, but its not something that I would actively encourage her to participate in, I believe in freedom of speech and she would seriously limit mine! I try to tell her that I am not on here that often but I don't think she buys it.

Luckily she is still appreciating the fact that although I taught her to drive in the Supra, its just not happening in the 355.

Also, Kevin my mum thinks Max is absolutely lovely. She is a major fan of little kids, but does state that it seems to go wrong after 14 !!! Not me of course, I was always a good kid

RIGHT GUYS GET THIS!

Today I saw a guy in a Silver 550 Barchetta pull into the petrol station opposite for a little optimax.
Once again this was no ordinary sounding Ferrari - I looked closely and recognised the Koenig pipes and sound (very close to your 456GT Kevin).....
Well what so special? - the guy that stepped out was the same guy who had been driving the SUPER F50 described earlier....
Some guys really do have it all.

Met someone who knows the story about the SUPER RHD F50.
There are apparently 2 in the world - each one cost the price of the F50 JUST TO CONVERT.

£325K + £325K =..... HOLY SHIT!

The 456 (estate/saloon) is called the 456 shooting brake. I saw it at Coys/Silverstone a while back.
