Right thats Monday done!, now then sunday; Bromley Pageant. Did you go?. Absolutely brilliant, a marque for everyone!, So many loved cars all in one place and row after endless row of one makes. Here are a few. Including a few oddities. For one day a mass of radials and chrome bumpers, they don't make em like they used to:

no change in the Fiat Multipla then.

MOVE!!!!!

I could not make it unfortunately.

Looks like there was a good turn out though.

Shame, considering how close I live.... :-(

I love those old Rovers. Always fancied one of the coupes.

Just to add my bit, we had to get there for about 9.30am as Bilko had to go to work later. Driving down through Bromley and towards the Park was almost like going back in time as the exhibitors' cars all converged on the site - chrome everywhere. Modern cars just don't cut it "personality" wise, do they - with a few honourable exceptions anyway. If only there was a more affordable range along the lines of the Eagle E-type, keeping the old styling but using modern mechanical bits.
Sharp intake of breath on the way home as we watched a massive American something or other (big fins etc) edge its way through one of those road width restrictions. Made it with millimetres to spare....
Incidentally, for anyone thinking of going next year - might be an idea to park in Bromley and walk / bus the rest of the way. The public parking and the access track to it was awful - rutted, lots of debris. Top show once you get there though.
Alex.

I bussed it to the event and walked home so dont know what the parking was like. I heard over the tannoy that there was a bust water main or something which was making the traffic worse that usual. I waited half hour for a bus gave up and started to walk home, 20mins later two passed me, I motioned that he was some kind of and he just drove off.

One of the best bits was when they bottlenecked the exit then blocked the traffic on the main road and let the classics out in one go looked like the start of the gumball rally
