Replace centre console 986

Hi there, I have seen for sale, a used centre console (the arm rest, handbrake and gearshift section), colour coded to match the exterior colour of my 986 Boxster.
I think it will look great but is it worth the trouble as I can just see myself breaking one of the bolts and having a rattle which will annoy me forever. Or am I better off just keeping the car to its original spec.
