Hey you guys,

Does anyone know if there is security stopping people getting to their private hospitality / balcony viewing of the Grand Prix and if so what time they will be stopping people in the morning.

Any replies will be gratefully appreciated as we only have had 8 passes sent through for a balcony that should fit 14.

You need passes to get into where your building is, rather than each building itself. One year they were really strict with us, another year they we're more relaxed about things. We're still waiting for our building passes to come through. Are you down for the whole weekend?

I live in Cannes so will be driving up each day. Only sorted GP tickets yesterday as we put more focus on sorting the parties first! The weather is looking great for the weekend (last weekend we had storms down here!). Just saw your other post re parking - if towns very busy aim for Fontvieille as there's usually parking there, just aim for where the helicopters are landing.

Thanks Petrus,

2 questions -

What parties and where do you get tickets?

Could we get through security for balcony viewing if we are there say for 6:45am?

This year as we have a corporate guest/friend coming over from the States we've got an event on a yacht (Baraka) and then also the Amber Lounge. As it's Cannes Film Festival too we're having to mix and match a bit though. Every other year we haven't sorted anything and have had a really great time.

Monaco becomes a grand prix circuit again at 7am each morning (the whole circuit itself turns into one big party venue each evening) so I can't see any reason why there'd be a problem. A friend works in the offices at St Devote corner, I'll buzz him tomorrow and find out for sure and pm you.

Crispy - we will be out there from Thursday evening - PM me and you can come around for a beer after hours no probs at all.

As for parties - not sure what we will be doing as yet but hope to see the Gumballers friday for a few drinks etc - Maybe amber lounge on saturday if we can cope with all the pretense.

Hi everyone, does anyone know where to buy really good tickets and seats for the Monaco gp 2014? Whenever I get round to looking its sold out.
SWMBO's mum has a flat in Antibes and thought it would be awesome to go along to the race in the future!

Thanks Matt
