I would say Saturday or Sunday,I am going Saturday depending on the weather. If you go on eurodragster or Santa pod web site it will tell you the running order and what's on. Hope this helps.

at the moment sundays not looking good due to weather usually sundays my favourite day to take people along as its the day before eliminations so everyones getting a handle on the track and starting to push abit but if the weathers like its predicting u would be better off sat or monday draw back of monday is slightly busyier but u see less cars due to eliminations on the up side evrryones pushing hard so the racings awesome draw backs to saturday are all the pro cars have less time on track so not as many full passes but on the plus ull see more cars. so upto you but id probably go saturday make sure you walk round the pits if youve never been your in for a treat let us know what you think after youve been

Under normal circumstances, Sunday. But as others have said, go for the one that looks like having the lowest chance of rain.

I'd also say Sunday for all the reasons mentioned plus I have a reasonably long drive and the traffic after the event on a bank holiday Monday is always much worse. Mind you I too would say look carefully at the weather forecasts, if it's your first time at the Pod the biggest risk of disapointment is non stop rain !

OP, like us, your close enough to make a balanced judgement when you wake up on the weather, if it looks dry, get down to te Pod!

Pits are free so make sure you take a good look round, I can't wait to get up there Thursday night and get set up!

Wake up, log onto the ED webcam, then leave/stay.....

Or do as I intend which is to go Thursday morning, put up tent etc. watch some practice then be ready for first thing Friday morning and Sportsmen qualifying. Sometime after racing is finished (hopefully late Monday) put tent down and leave facility...

Throw in some beer and that sounds like the best plan yet!

Looking at the forecast now Sunday and Monday are both forecast to be dry and 16c which is not warm but not frostbite stuff like Easter ! Either look OK.

you mean break camp by dinner time, move car nearer the gates before the final rounds, watch the final rounds and leg it out ASAP....

Saturday, Sunday and Monday all look dry but Friday could be a complete wash out.
I think Sunday could be the best bet to see the most action.

Ive always thought Sunday the best day. Three pro sessions after a day getting a grip on the track, plus bump spots makes it better value than race day IMO.

Been blowing a wet gale oop Norf all night, still is, so checked into the SPR webcam earlier and was surprised but happy to see blue skies, dry track and a number of spectators in the grandstands. People in short sleeves and shorts running about…
Weather sites are still saying the whole day is looking very lousy. Confusion reigned.
Then they announced that it was just replays on the webcam frown Hope there’s some good breaks today.
Forecast is good for the rest of the weekend, fingers crossed they’ve got it right.

As it's a first time visitor I'd also like to give my usual advice to get there early if possible. I normally try to arrive by 9am as there is little hold up at the gate plus it means I can get in the paddock just as the pro cars are starting to fire up from about 9.30 onwards. Listening at close quarters to a nitro car is a memorable experience though try to keep up wind of the tear gas style fumes ! You can either watch on the bank of buy a grandstand seat, these days I find the latter more comfortable and it is nearer to the paddock.

There is a timetable but in my experience it rarely works and the 2nd TF run normally is quite late in the afternoon. If there is an accident or a major oil down the strip is normally closed for at least half an hour and it gives a chance to look around the paddock or get something to eat.

Make a careful note of where you park your car if you are early as by the time you pick it up it all looks very different and it can be difficult to find !

You know me Chris... Beer is always packed.

Weather at the track is disappointing... Beer supply may be raided shortly.
