I have an entry level Road bike (Cube Aerial) and a Fixed Speed commuter.

I have a budget of about £150 and am considering buying new wheels for my road bike. The wheels on the Fixie are a bit rubbish and I would like to know if it is feasible to convert the road bike wheels for use on the Fixie?

If so what needs to be done?

Check the hubs are the same width first. If they are, you can just buy a load of spacers and a single speed sprocket, not sure if you can just use a sprocket from a regular cassette as they are designed to shift the chain up and down?. Use the spacers to align the chain with the front chain ring, take enough links from the chain to fit and away you go.

On the assumption that your fixie is of typical fixie rear end i.e. track ends, then no, it won't work: it'll be 120mm OLD, whereas road wheels are 130mm OLD.
