Cabriolet from stock?
Discussion
Hello my fellow Porsche buyers.
I know from personal experience that Porsche demonstrated their willingness to move stock at the end of the year on the bottom line at deal time.
Any idea how hard or soft prices are for a new cab from stock?
Looking at a Carrera 2 S Cab - initial reaction is full price as demand is strong. I am sure I saw a aeronautical bovine at this point. Any other experiences out there - PM me if you like.
Thanks,
Trout

I bought a c2s cab about 3 months ago that had been registered by the dealer the day before I made a speculative enquiry about it (they registered it and put it straight on the approved site). It was registered so I'm technically the second owner but it hadn't been driven and had less than 50 miles on the clock and was, to all intents and purposes, brand new. It was well specced and pretty much what I would have specced new. I got £12k off list for having a previous owner on the V5. Got the porsche experience day that goes with every "new" car too. Pretty happy with that.

12k off? Circa 15%?
Does this prove they are overpriced?
Not sure proves it but there has always been the view that the 991 is an expensive proposition when new. The car I got still wasn't new in the end and was sold as an approved used car which s always going to attract a discount. You could probably get good money off unregistered stock cars too, but I'm not sure how many of those are around these days.Does this prove they are overpriced?
Porsche uk ordered less 991's for this year, and increased prices! Low volumes does seem to more an issue in the uk. Other counries have seen more cars being sold where they cost even more. I have not seen a move in used prices since end of last year either which could mean porsche has got a better grip again on the market.
