Seen one in the flesh the other day and got me thinking who it was aimed at ?

Wife previously owned r50 cooper and the reason we moved to a countryman was the arrival of a wee one. Wanted another mini but with 5doors and decent boot.

Paceman is a 3 door version of this and more expensive ????

Mini name it as a crossover meaning it competes with quashqai etc. But not aware of another 3 door crossover with the exception of the evoque which is not priced on par.

So who's bought one on here and why ?

I've ordered one, to replace my Countryman, which is a great car.
What Paceman adds to the equation, is a bigger boot, as the sloping roofline necessitated moving the rear seats forward, and I don't use the rear seats much, so it's a win win for me.
