Warranty frame replacement, experience? (Lapierre)

So my frame, Lapierre Spicy 316, has cracked on the top tube/seatpost join, sob 
It's a 2010 bike so I reckon it's unlikely that I'll get a like for like swap and will probably get this year's frame...yay new frame I hear you cry! Well... The new frames have tapered steerer tubes, mine doesn't. The new ones have 10mm rear axles, mine doesn't. The new ones have a slightly different shock setup and that's just what I can spot from photos!
Anyone swapped a frame under warranty before? I guess it'll be me that's expected to pay for the different parts as it's the frame under warranty? I have a Hope rear hub so that's not too bad as there is a conversion kit from QR to 10mm but the fork/headset is bothering me!
I've only just dropped it off at the shop so still waiting to hear if they're gonna honour it.

There's been quite a few threads recently regarding cracked frames, mainly carbon mind you, but there should be somebody on there who knows the answers.

There's a kit to convert 135mm Hopes to 142 and consists of two little caps to go over the end, my Fulcrums were exactly the same. Also I believe all 142mm hubs are bolt through so they might come with the kit.
Reducer cups on the headset will sort your fork issues and whilst the mounts might be different the shock is the same size so I think you're good to go, really the warranty covers the whole bike so they should ensure everything fits and works after the repairs.

Just be careful if Lapierre ask your weight if you're on the husky side, unlike most they have weight limits on their bikes, 100kgs including kit I believe, but I doubt they'll Fmake you step on a scale before authorising the work.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that it all goes to plan! I'd quite happily have another 2010 frame, I really like it! I was gutted when I left it there in the shop!

So, I now have new frame, new headset with reducer, new rear skewer and a pair of new wheels! I've also bought a new bottom bracket and I've converted my rear hub which works nicely. I'm doing the build too to speed things up, pics to follow assuming I survive the mess I've made in the kitchen lol
I've just gone through the same process with my 2012 Zesty 714.
After a bit of French public holidaying, and then a bit of typical gallic shrugging, I ended up with a replacement for the cracked seat tube on the carbon frame.
I now have a shiny new 2013 Zesty 914
God help you, however, if you're a 2nd hand owner.
