Would appreciate some advice chaps.

I'm a new user of ebay and finding the whole process time consuming and inefficient. I'm not even sure it's the right place to sell specialist car stuff as it all seems a bit random. So does the parts section on PH. Happy to be corrected.

So what's the solution? Rennlist or is that too US-centric? Which UK Porsche sites are good for selling parts? The tequipment cage is pretty big so probably a collection-only item within the UK.

Thanks in advance,

Harris

Thanks for the tip on 911uk.com. Looks like a good resource.

I sold my GT3 stuff on PH easily.
Sold a tech equip cage for Mk1, wheels, calipers and stuff, just price your kit to sell
I can highly recommend PH classified parts section

Think he posted on 911UK the other day saying he has a cage and harnesses fitted now.

Yes I've just had a Tequipment cage fitted to the GT3 I'm afraid.

Sorry to go slightly OT but I was wondering - does the Tequipment cage limit rearwards adjustment of the driver's seat ? It looks like it's intended for LHD and the diagonal might get in the way of the seat in a RHD car.

My recollection is it didn't affect the movement of the seat rearwards, but then again I am the size of a hobbit. smile

Nope - it is fine so long as the car has buckets (different matter if you were trying to put one in a car with normal sports seats).

To be honest - posting here and on 911uk will probably be enough to shake out a buyer for the OP though : there always seems to be someone after one of these.

I bought mine on ebay and then sold it back on ebay. If I was looking for another that would be the first place I would look.

Sorry Dave, deposit now taken as we discussed earlier.

Big thumbs up for PH classifieds - seems quite painless.
