991 GT3 PEC Invite

Just had my invite through. Do the actually have one there ?.

What date? Is it an invite to a specific 'Depositors Day' or a standard 'you’ve ordered a car, come and drive a Porsche day'?

For the ‘Depositors Days’ I would expect them to have at least a couple of physical cars to inspect and look over and perhaps the chance to drive or be driven in one or two…

No date, but specifically new GT3 991 invite, to drive FOC. I'm a Depositor, but no ref to that on letter.

Sounds like a standard invite I think (the model of the intended purchase just inserted automatically perhaps) – I am hoping there will be the rumoured 991 GT3 specific invites to view the car and drive it (perhaps) for paid up depositors that some others have been discussing.
If it is just a free half-day driving in a 997.2 GT3 (or indeed anything else) and not 991 GT3 specific then it’s just an added bonus!

This is a 'specific' 991 GT3 drive invitation. Nothing to do with any other drive/car.

Okay - cool. I await some much anticipated feedback!
I'm guessing they won't be available until after the UK press have been given the chance to drive the cars.

The specific, 991 GT3 event will be at Goodwood same as the 4.0 was, some time in July, It wont be a drive.

There was no date given, so I assume you'd need to ring and arrange a date for when they have a car, later in the year.

Strange - I had an invite a few weeks ago but it never mentioned my 991 GT3 deposit, just a generic invitation to a day at Silverstone.

I called my dealer to clarify whether it was related to my GT3 order or a generic 'goodwill' gesture given that I'd placed deposits for 2 cars with them (also a Macan for my wife) and have been there for servicing, warranty, tyres and an MOT recently.

They confirmed it was in relation to the GT3 and I could choose to attend in the near future (for the 997 GT3) or wait until later in the year (for the 991 GT3). Obviously I decided to wait to drive the real thing!

Contacted them. Car due in to PEC in November, so on list waiting to be informed when my slot will be.
