Brake Servo for the V8S

Morning all,

Anyone know where I could order one of these in a hurry ? Mine has an air leak and the car is due to eb returned to me on Friday !

That Ford label will have a part number on it which someone may be able to match for you (I have it some where. The master cylinder might even be right as well. There are others on Ebay – search fiesta servo.

Found it! The servo I bought was a Fiesta Mk3 one. The Ford identification lable on it had the number 4049404 89FB-DB. A TVR specialist cross-checked the numbers and they corresponded to the TVR number. The master clyinder needs to have a 22.2mm bore.

Bespoke did have one for sale.....at £440!

Looks like a delay of a couple of weeks whilst mine goes for reconditioning.

Not heard of that before, who recons servo's ?

Is the air leak caused by some sort of component failure, or the usual culprit....rust ?

Spoke to these guys today:

Seems to be their bread and butter business and the servo will come back 'as new' for £180. The only exception is if the casing is rusted through beyond repair, but even then, they may have old casings to suit which they can provide for a surcharge. Takes 2 weeks.

I'd rather have new, but at £440, forget it!

Just coming back on this - JL highly recommended. In the end they happened to have a new old stock servo on the shelf which they let me have for the same money.

Presumably they'll now refurbish mine and have it ready to go if somebody needs one.

How much? For a Fiesta van servo? Maybe it was a bad line and they thought you said Jaguar V8S
