Another Update

Hi All.
Just about got the wheel arches done, made the moulds off the plug on the body. Mould came off the plug ok and the plug came off the car with no damage, just lots of sticky tape residue to clean off.
Moulds trimmed and stuck back to the body with masking tale so they can set to the shape.
Should be able to start making the final extensions next week.

So are you keeping the filler cap as is, not tucking it away inside the bootlid as per Phillpot?
What an excellent guide to follow though, makes for very interesting reading.

I think I have the filler cap, will have to look in the boxs that came with the car and see if It's there.

Obviously a personal opinion but "doing a Phillpot" with the filler cap would smooth out and enhance the curve of the flared wheel arch to the rear wing and avoid breaking the line. (MHO)
