How's it going Barry ?

I think it can be done but is a real fiddle ?

If I remember correctly I noticed mine was splitting as I was re-assemling after a partial body lift and tank out, wanting to get the car back together I put it back on and then had to change it later with everything back together.

This did at least give me the advantage that bolts were all new so nothing seized or rusty!

Remove 4 Bolts that mount to chassis first, this lets diff drop a little giving slightly better access to the bolts through the mount into the diff casing,or did I resort to front diff bolts out to allow whole thing to move forward scratchchin

Have you a replacement "lined up"? New are rare as front indicators I believe, choice of second hand or fancy after market versions.

This looks pretty flash

ETA... just dug out an old photo of fuel tank cradle to post on Mikes question about rear exhaust mount and in the background are two diff mounts..... I remember it all now .... original was splitting but the Granada LSD I was fitting came with one in very good condition, wasn't till I came to bolt it up I realised Granada mount is bigger than Sierra irked

I'm getting good, only took just over an hour type

I suppose worst case scenario if a replacement can't be found is the good old Tigerseal method scratchchin
