James Toseland, World Superbike Champion!
A superb performance in both races, isn't he now the youngest Champion ever?
What i don't get is Skysports.com!! They cover football..fine i like football, and they mention other sports, tennis, golf etc..!
But did they mention JT's title??? Did they hell..
Also, did i hear right that Bayliss and Hodgson may well be back in World Supers..?

Was going to say something yesterday but I know the BBC was showing highlights
at midnight or later.
Big congrats to James, unexpected result but worth it for his consistency this year.
As for Bayliss & Hodgson, with Xaus getting a podium in Qatar he might be moved sideways to the works team with Capirossi, then Bayliss may well be looking for a ride, which will leave Hodgson in a good position on the D'Antin Ducati (if they have the budget) and he wants to stay there (no other offers he likes). It's where Toseland will be next year, now he's won the title he is going to be in demand, Fila Ducati will likely want to keep him for the No1 plates, where that leaves Laconi I don't know as it was mentioned by the Eursport commentators "by their expressions it was almost as if the wrong Ducati rider won". With a strong Yamaha team, possibly 2 bikes for Ten Kate Honda and Suzuki returning there will be extra rides for MotoGP exiles to hop onto but I think the silly season hasn't even started to get going.

Well done indeed Mr J.T.
It did look like David Tardotzi was not best pleased with the result from the picture on Eurosport in Europe. When JT won the first race he pulled a face and shrugged! No pleasing some people.
I have heard rummers that Baylis does not have a ride,
that Xaus has a lot of sponsership money behind him because he is Spanish!
That Shakey is going to Suzuki.
I also heard that Haga will be on a works Yamaha for WSBK.
So you can buy an R1 with 46 on one side and 41 on the other.

It has also been commented that J.McWilliams may go to WSBK if not 2005 then 2006.
Honda will run 4 bikes in WSBK, 2 with Ten Kate and a new team.
Chilli to run Kwak's but I've also heard Honda!!!
Edwards to be Valentino's team mate!!!!!! No thats how to develop a bike!
Anybody else got any more info?

is Edwards deffinately moving? Now hes got the gear the others have hes kicking ass again. Evn on lesser equipment he was very consistent and scoring point severy round just about.
Would love to see it though, Edwards and Rossi sticking it to Hnda
And shakey on a Suzuki? I had heard that Yuki had got a ride next year but again that may just be rumurs

If he wants to give WSB a try he'd better do it soon, he's no spring chicken, what is he now, 54 ?

All will become blurred when Valentino wins the title this year and say's "isa no challenge anymore" (er...hello, what about WCM then?) and quits to try to emulate John Surtees. With possibly 3 car F1 teams next year he joins Ferrari as driver number 3.
Vale is on a 2 year contract and did say last week that he could think about a carrer move to 4 wheels after that. Rubens Barra' said if he can drive a car the way he rides a bike he'll beat us all.
McW will be using his WSBK to go to the post office on a thursday morning!
Kag got the Suz ride for 2 races only.
Could be a good 2nd team for Suz with Kag and Shakey?
