Any indications as to where you were? I'm probably taking the 911 down to Italy for a few months in the summer again this year, so would be nice to explore some new locations.

heading back to the Dolomites end of September later this year after a couple of trackdays at Monza & Mugello..

has to be our all time favourite touring region.

Was this anywhere near Bolzano? Stayed there during our Honeymoon tour of Italy - lovely place.

Piccies were taken on the "Giau Pass", close to Cortina D'Amprezzo. We are on a three week tour to Lambo 50th Anniversary and had a two nights in Cortina. The roads around here are awesome. We came this way last September. The video (16mins 27secs) has a great example of the road quality:

Nice images. We did two days at the Ring this trip (which is our predictable stopover). Always wanted to drive Monza and Mugello, definitely on the to-do list.
