Fantastic job! Take it to an MOT tester that understands old cars. The first time I had to take mine in I spoke to the tester and he told me not to worry because due to the design on the 'S' they were all crap.

Well done Shaun, that looks excellent.
May I just ask one small question, what is securing the battery?
Apparently the new points on the test include secure battery fastening.
Mine only has bungee cables, that I will have to change, but I see nothing on yours.

Very nice work! clap

BTW, my battery clamp is a wedge at the front of the tray that holds the lower flange of the battery.

Shaun, well done, your car looks fantastic & such a great colour too.
Once MOT'd, will we see you on some S meet-ups? I hope to see your S in the flesh fairly soon.
ATB,
Glen.

When I took my S2 for its first MOT in my ownership the MOT station I use for my daily car said not to worry as they know how poor the handbreak is so this put my mind at rest.
Since removing the drums and cleaning them plus adding some copper grease to the various linkages I can now lean against the boot without it rolling forward!
