had a really good day, saw some great cars including the rally car demos of the 6R4 , Audi quattro, manta etc, and my fav (biased) the Sunbeam Lotus.

the Lancaster fly-by was great, as was the racing. A chap was unfortunately killed in his mini in the historic Touring cars which put a sad end to a nice event :-(

anyone else attend with their classic ?

the paddock was interesting looking at the engineering of the group C cars etc, i missed my fav racing with the Lolas and GT40s on saturday. decent show overall, could do with a few more traders. will be good when they finish landscaping the infield and inner roads as its a tip at the mo following on from the F1 debacle.

friend was going to get tickets, but didn't get his ass into gear, so didn't get there. sorry to hear there was a death, thoughts and sympathies to all involved.
