Ouch and HOW on earth?
Is it not College & Guild street?
It is.Is it not College & Guild street?
My mate has the exact same car, cue a quick check to see if his was still where he'd left it. Seemingly there's only 5 red turbo's in the UK, trust there to be two in Aberdeen.
I had heard a rumour that the Porsche may have been squeezed off the road?

There must be three in Aberdeen - I know two others, and didn't know this car.My mate has the exact same car, cue a quick check to see if his was still where he'd left it. Seemingly there's only 5 red turbo's in the UK, trust there to be two in Aberdeen.

This was all over facebook yesterday unsurprisingly.
Plenty of people blaming the 911 driver for spinning out without knowing what actually happened, yes granted that may be the case, but if we're going to throw random conjectures in there my guess is an illegal immigrant from Algeria in a stolen Gallant(or whatever it is) who smokes Richmond menthols and has a keen interest in the occult and 911 conspiracy theories.
What do I win if I'm right?

I find that attitude a bit grating just because it's a powerful car, we don't know what happened yet, could have been a number of causal factors.

There's a long trail of coolant on the ground, so clearly there was momentum involved. At town speeds, it's pretty hard to get squeezed off the road like that. There aren't many such scenarios where you're better off crashing than just stopping.
There's a tiny chance I'm wrong, but I'd put money on excess speed being involved. It's hard to f**k up that badly at 30mph and yes I do know that piece of road very well!

Well, Bridge Street runs stright up, so to be pedantic, the corner of all 3... :-PIs it not College & Guild street?

Corner of Market Street and College Street, Aberdeen.
Regardless, I think College / Guild is more accurate as Bridge is one way at that point.<image>
