These guys are based less than 5mins from me in Middlesbrough and they do servicing for TVRs. This is a bit of a long shot (virtually no Tivs in this area!) but has anyone here used or know of them? I would still use the main dealer for servicing (60 miles away), but for general maintenance, niggle,s etc this company would prove very handy.
Cheers,
Dan

Have used Falcon for 2 years servicing Griffirth 500 and find the job done by Steve Crawford to be first class. He currently has 20+ TVR'S on his books and i would recommend him for full servicing as he is also approved by WHA(warranty) for carrying out repairs to TVR'S, in my opinion Falcon do a better job than the 2 dealers nearest to Teesside ater using all of them. I have reluctantly just got rid of my Griffith but did 30,000 miles in 2 years running it as every day transport. Pinkney is your Cerbera Tourqoise in colour as i keep seeing one with TVR in the reg

Andrew,

Great to hear from a fellow Teessider, very few on this site unfortunately.

I do happen to have a turquoise Cerb but don't have TVR on the plate - surely can't be another in the region!? As of this weekend though, the car features anthracite spiders and afterburners along with de-cat - sounds awesome !

I am in Eston/Normanby, whereabouts are you? Sorry to hear you got rid of the Griff, how come?

Great to hear about Falcon, no doubt it will save a lot on petrol and mileage after having to travel to Hexham all the time, especially for all the niggly things. Will try to arrange to see Steve there at some point.

Cheers, Dan

P.S. Do you know of any other Tivs in the region? Only one I know of is Ian Sayer (wedg1e on here) who I think drives a silver 390S Wedge.

Live in Billingham, had to get rid of Griffith due to serious pressure from her indoor's about the cost. Have seen a couple of Chim's,Cerberas and Tuscans locally, but dont think they are on Pistonheads.
If you take your car to Falcon they will do you a good job but wiil give your car a good going over so be prepared for some preventative maintenance, which ultimately prevents major problems. Servicing is approx 35-50% cheaper than the 2 local dealers and a much better job

I'm from Nunthorpe originally - sometimes back there to see my mum. But unfortunately de-camped dawn'sawff. Shame - some cracking roads up there...

Cheers,

Tried out Falcon this morning after experiencing a clicking noise at the rear of the car. Diagnosed it as loose brake pads (also diagnosed by Dannyit) and fixed it on the spot (1-2 hours) also spotted and highlighted a few other potential problems. All in all a great service and will definitely be using them in future.
