Cheers chaps, the brute power might not be for anyone, but once tried it, there's no way back... Now everything is slow.

Looks very stable too, what sort of power is that running?

If you do answer this - can you include what cosmetic stuff you've had done? As I mentioned before, loved your seats - and the dash dial backgrounds etc. were pretty cool. Would be good to know the additional stuff you've had done which isn't related to making it faster than concorde!

Its a 3.8L 9e build engine, K24 hybrid turbos with big big wheel, custom build double clutch, big Y Pipe/throttle body, 5 inch race IC and an endless list of other engine mods. Susp and geo is RSS10 and RSS. Brakes are from Porsche motorsports. Aero is original GT2. Still 4WD, but converting to RWD. Going to build another gearbox with better ratios and a littler longer 6th.

Had the cabin redone by a company in NL with Nappa leather and the seats build out for proper side support. 9e sorted out the dials, yellow rpm and rest white. seat belts (stupidly expensive) ordered with Porsche in yellow.

9e developed and build the car as per my requirements as a road going car with 4 seats, but capable of going quick on track as well as in sprints and Vmax events. On pump gas, I run approx. ~650hp in chill mode, ~800hp in spirited mode and ~900hp if something serious is around to play. We can run it at higher octane around 1.000hp.

Its incredible drivable, a stranger to the car can jump in and drive it around a track as if it was stolen and run 205 - 210 right from the outset. One of the larger Porsche mags are about to do a feature of the car. Headline will be drive your kids to school, head to the golf club for 1/2 a round, afternoon on the track trashing everything, quick shopping and then pick the kids up on the way home... A family car with grit ;-)

And when cruising at the motorway through EUR at 95 mph, it does 26 - 27 mpg... So the "e" in 9e could just as well be economical rather than excellence whistle

Would you not lose performance scrapping the 4WD? Surely it'll struggle to put the power down at anything less than very high speeds?

Will probably loose a little 0-100 mph performance but gain on 100-200+ mph. The concern is 4WD not holding up to 1.000+ HP which the car can run at on race fuel. So less friction/weight, but a little more exciting getting up in speed, time will tell how it will work out.

Once it's done, I think the next video should be of the passengers face enjoying the "little more exciting"!

When is the conversion due to be done? Will certainly be interesting to know what speeds you can get away with full acceleration on a 1000+HP RWD car. Guess rear engine helps a little.

Having run in yours I am rethinking my build. RWD won't cut it if the cars got power and the tracks bumpy trust mesmile

I somewhat agree Jez, but the prob though is that the front diff wont last, its too much power, so I think the better route is RWD, a good LSD and variable boost by gear... Time will tell, can always stick 4WD back on again.

And side benefits are... Smoother drifting and donuts biglaugh
