My Nob flew through the MOT yesterday which is always nice

The MOT tester knows the car and is generally a nice bloke so we got chatting about various stuff including the pro's and con's of pre 60's cars not needing an MOT and more interestingly new MOT regs most of which is trivial stuff.

However, he then declared that going by the letter of the regs he shouldn't really inspect under the clams of the Noble as you have to use a tool to gain access...... go figure!

Glad to see that the respective authorities have their safety priorities right!

So there you go, sticking to the rules, the Noble must be the easiest car to MOT ever.

Even stranger, mine passes even without cats.
Even running at 14.7 air fuel at idle n richer on boost

Thats what im saying Bondy, it was a proper mot, no dodgy stuff going on.
Why do Nobles have to run cats when mine seems to be passing without?

the idle emissions test is a joke

how do they know your car is fine when you are driving at say 70 mph

in some countries you have to drive on a rolling road and perform a full emissions test
