Gents, i have always been concerned about the quality of the original 3R wheels having read previous horror stories but I have always perservered with them as I love the look of them and am a fan of originality. I 'get' the quality and strength of the Compmotives but visually prefer the originals.
Has anyone on here ever spoken to any supplier / maunfacturer about recreating the originals? A quick search coughed up this outfit http://www.performancealloys.com/custom-wheels.asp... their custom 3 piece rims look pretty close to start with so surely they would be able to cast a wheel centre close to the originals.
Any thoughts / experience of this?
