Just looking to take someone out for a nice drink and meal out and want somewhere pretty nice. It's more of a get to know them rather than a full on fancy 3 course meal so looking for a nice pub which does decent food not toooo far from Cosham, anywhere around a 10M radius or so is fine. I'm not from around here so don't really know any places to be honest.

CCheers guys

Mark.

The Bat & Ball in Clanfield is more of a 'country' pub:

I was here today with a young lady. Fantastic pub, really great food, lovely views. About 8 miles from Cosham, really quiet too

For drinks its a case of turning up and hoping for the best. Cant imagine you will have a problem finding somewhere to sit.

They will only do reservations for food.
