Hi,

If you move fast, you'll never find a better-value Boxer:

Happy bidding - and any Q's do let me know.

ps. Sorry Ted if this should be done elsewhere.

Surely, their estimates are ridiculous, i've never seen one below £35K
I'd chop my balls off for it

So would I, but apparently that wouldn't help me keep it. Baby forces sale, you see

The estimate does seem very low - is this merely a coys sales tactic or is it cos its Brown?

I have to say I think it looks rather groovy!

Castex, as it doesn't show up in the results of the auction I take it that it didn't reach it's reserve, or did you change your mind about selling?

umm - the coys site says it went for 27K ... seems like a good price to me ... if it didn't actually reach its price let me know ... :-)

I wish I'd been on the ball with this - fabulous car ....

Yes, it went for about what we'd paid. Minus two lots of commision, of course, but then we couldn't really have shown any private buyer the car, being in France.
I'm not too sure what the boxer has cost us altogether, preferring not to do the calculation. Regardless, while this was and is a very good one, these are very expensive cars to maintain.
It has been an unforgettable two years, and the very thought of going out in that thing is a thrill even now that it's gone. What a car. What an incredible engine.
I'm off to look at an RS2 today

Sorry to see you have to part with it.
Congratulations for Castex JR, though

Since our talk in Folembray the other year where did you eventually get it serviced ? Please mail me if you have the time.
Cheers.
