And just for interest, now I've completely overhauled the cooling system I've decided to follow the bible and some (dare I say majority) by putting the pressure cap on the swirl pot and the blanking cap on the expansion tank. I'll let you know how it goes. First road-test and all is fine. Longer, more spirited run tomorrow night.
