I'm going Morris Oxford.

The little round badge on the bonnet and single chrome side trim is a giveaway.

The Cambridge didn't have the round badge and mist had a double chrome side strip.

My dad had one of those versions, a Morris Oxford. Also had the the whole of the A55 range at one time or another, Riley 4/72, Wolsdey something and the Oxford A55. All had leather seats as standard and to think most of them cost about £1500 new at the time, which is roughly what a leather option on its own costs now. All the cars were comfy on long cruises, I remember them with affection.

Definitely an Oxford series VI. Not a Hindustan, because they were based on the series IV Oxford....

But it does have a few non standard fittings like those hubcaps...

Front grille is different on Oxford and Cambridge - as said above that is the Oxford

As a simple way of defining Austin or Morris, look at the grille. The Morris is barred, the Austin latticed. Same with the Mini. have no idea why, but in the day you were either a Morris or Austin person, even though they were the same car. Caused many a heated discussion as to which was better!

They did produce the series III.
The tooling was bought and produced in India and Sri Lanka... They also implanted a diesel lump ! MMMmmmmmm... Tasty !!

It does look more like the UK version Oxford rather than the Hindustani version. I'm sure the badge on the bonnet looks like a proper Morris badge.
