It seems like forever but my 993's been parked up at my brothers since before xmas and with the weather and work getting in the way its taken until today...
...and oh man it felt good to get back behind the wheel.
Had the usual panic when the blipper wouldnt open the doors.. and then we left it running for a while before I took it for a spin to get some juice. I thought I heard a funny chirping noise then the hazards started to flash... 'kin alarm!! great I thought Im going to get stranded at the petrol station.
But alas all was well and it was all back to normal after 10 mins on the road.
The drive home was awesome, even when I was taking it easy it was like a dream, the compact size of the car means you can place anywhere on the road and you can do it almost by thought control...
I love my 993 and I'm happy its back.
It just needs a bloody good clean.

I took mine out last weekend, its been on a Sorn since Sept. I always lay it up in winter time do a few jobs, on it one of them was to powder coat the door handles. As over the years the paint peels off.
It still has EVERY MILE IS A SMILE factor for me.
So luckly I still have it as well, always wanted that model of 911.
Its the only type I wanted anyway, funny thing is they have gone up in value a fair bit as well.
